I hope the club openings are going well. It is exciting to hear so many clubs going back to in-person training.
As you know, we have always had a fall black belt grading in Saskatchewan or Manitoba. This fall we have decided to have another national grading using the in-person and virtual format like we did in May and June. We encourage clubs who have candidates to get together in-person or if that will not work, attend virtually via Zoom.
We are planning to have a brown and black belt workout on Friday November 5 (5:00 – 6:45 PM MST / 7:00 – 8:45 EST)and then the black belt grading on Saturday November 6 (9:00 – 3:00 MST / 11:00 – 5:00 EST). As we started the preparation for the grading, we wanted to get a good understanding of the number of brown and black belts that would be eligible.
Sorry for the shorter notice on this. COVID fluctuations across the country are making it extremely difficult to plan things in advance.
